The Bolognese sauce, (in Italian ragù Bolognese), is a well-known sauce from the Bologna region of northern Italy. In contrast to our North American usage, it is cooked with lasagna or tagliatelle instead of spaghetti in its region of origin. The tantalizing aroma is one that very few people, big and small, can resist!
Frozen to perfectly preserve its freshness and aromas, this sauce is easily defrosted in the microwave oven. After two minutes on the stove, it is ready to serve!
